YFINEART CONSULTANT: MARIA AZEVEDO - Maria, was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She studied Art Education at Pontificia Universidade Catolica de Sao Paulo. Her first experience working in the art world was in Sao Paulo, Brazil from 1987-1990 in a commercial art gallery called Montessanti, a gallery with a range of established and emerging artists.
From 1990's until the early 2000's Maria Azevedo worked as an Art Consultant for various Brazilian artists in Sao Paulo, New York and Toronto. Opening her own art gallery in 2004 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Since, June of 2008, Maria has been living in Vancouver, BC. and has taken the opportunity to work closely with different artists from various backgrounds, solidifying her interest in supporting artists through representation and exhibitions.
YFINEART CONSULTANT LOCATION - The Dominion Building, Architected by J.S. Helyer and Son is also known as the Dominion Bank Building. It is a Vancouver designated heritage building.
Located on West Hastings and Cambie Street in the trendy upcoming Gastown area of Vancouver. The heritage building houses the offices of various businesses, including several media and entertainment companies.
